WWE: Bray Wyatt Talks Daniel Bryan Being His Dream WrestleMania Opponent & More
Bray Wyatt was recently interviewed by Sky Sports in order to promote the upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday, January 29 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
During the interview, “The Eater of Worlds” talked about who his dream WrestleMania opponent is, having big WrestleMania moments with The Undertaker, The Rock and John Cena, and how many more years he plans on wrestling for.
Wyatt’s response when asked who his dream WrestleMania opponent is, when taking into consideration past and present wrestlers.
“Daniel Bryan would be my match-up. I could say a lot of names – The Undertaker, Jake “The Snake” Roberts”, Ric Flair in his prime – but I didn’t feel I was finished with Bryan. I felt it was taken from me and I will always feel that way. This year, though, I plan to beat AJ Styles – if he is still the champion – and it would be good if it was a Last Man Standing Match.”
The interviewer reminded Wyatt that he’s been in high-profile spots at WrestleMania with the likes of The Undertaker, The Rock and John Cena. Wyatt responded saying that getting to share the ring with those guys was great, but that he has yet to have his moment.
“Being in big moments at WrestleMania is what this industry is all about – but I am not quite there yet. Facing those legends is one thing but to beat them is another and I have not really had my moment yet.
When talking about wanting to have his moment, Wyatt mentions how many more years he has “left in the tank” to have his moment and achieve what he wants to in the WWE.
“I feel it is rapidly approaching and I have 10 or 15 years left in my tank to do a lot of things that haven’t been seen yet.”
