Major WWE Bloodline Star Wants First-Time Tag Team With Roman Reigns
A Bloodline member wants to form a tag team with Roman Reigns for the first time.
Jacob Fatu has been outspoken about the love and respect he carries for his lineage, including Roman Reigns, who was the center of the Bloodline storyline in WWE.
However, the 35-year-old debuted on the promotion after the original Bloodline disbanded and was spearheaded by Solo Sikoa.
During this time, The Samoan Werewolf, who served as Sikoa’s enforcer, often found himself opposing his real-life first cousin, Roman Reigns.
Over time, due to differences with Sikoa, Fatu distanced himself from the faction after betraying him at Money in the Bank.
At WWE Night of Champions, the two heavyweights faced off as Fatu defended his United States Championship. Sikoa won the match and the title after multiple interferences.
Jacob Fatu, who is now a babyface in World Wrestling Entertainment, usually pairs with former Bloodline member Jimmy Uso.
Jacob Fatu Discusses Pairong With Roman Reigns In WWE
Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso have been on the receiving end of multiple beatdowns at the hands of Sikoa’s faction, MFT. But they seem to have found a new ally in Sami Zayn.
Zayn was heavily involved in the original Bloodline storyline and even teamed up with the Usos when the opportunity presented itself.
Fatu, though, was initially skeptical about pairing with the Canadian star after the latter revealed that he was officially part of the blue brand.
However, after the end of the six-man tag team match, they hugged it out to loud cheers from the Boston audience.
Jacob Fatu recently spoke on The Rich Eisen Show, where he was asked about a potential team-up with Roman Reigns.
Fatu said that while he had not thought about it extensively, he liked the idea.
You know, we just split. But I never even thought about that. But man, bro, that man, that do sound good. Obviously, your boy needs some help right now. I mean, I never thought about that, man, but it will be good. Once again, this comes, it’s the family, baby. Yeah, I mean, that would be a special moment for me. [17:22 onwards]
Meanwhile, Roman Reigns is scheduled for a WWE RAW appearance on August 18.
