WWE Announces Major Star Sidelined Indefinitely Due To Brutal Injury
A massive WWE Superstar has suffered a serious injury and will be absent from in-ring action indefinitely.
Gunther held the World Heavyweight Championship for 53 days before defending it against CM Punk at SummerSlam last Saturday.
During his fight with The Second City Saint, which ended in the latter capturing the World Heavyweight Title, The Ring General fell hard on the announce table and was busted open.
On tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW, legendary WWE commentator Michael Cole provided an update on the 37-year-old’s condition.
Cole disclosed that the former World Heavyweight Champion had suffered a septal hematoma and an orbital blowout fracture at The Biggest Party of the Summer. Therefore, he will be out of action indefinitely.

Gunther Will Reportedly Undergo Surgery After WWE SummerSlam Loss
Dave Meltzer recently addressed Gunther’s situation on the Wrestling Observer Radio. He pointed out that The Ring General’s injury during his match with CM Punk was planned to write the former World Heavyweight Champion off TV.
Meanwhile, Meltzer claimed the 37-year-old was dealing with a real-life issue that would require him to undergo a nose surgery.
I was told Gunther is having surgery on his nose. I was told that a couple of days ago. It was very clear from the finish Gunther is having surgery on his nose pretty quick because they shot the angle. That busted nose thing, that was 100% worked blood and planned. It was totally planned.
It would be interesting to see when The Ring General would make his return to WWE TV.
