WWE Announces Kevin Owens Injury

Kevin Owens WWE SmackDown

Kevin Owens is suffering from a serious hand injury according to WWE after his match with Grayson Waller on SmackDown.

Kevin Owens is always up for a fight and in recent weeks both Austin Theory and Grayson Waller have found themselves on the wrong end of the former Universal Champion.

On SmackDown in New York City, Kevin Owens made his way to the ring to confront US Champion Logan Paul after Paul announced an eight-man tournament to find the first challenger for his WWE gold that included Owens in the field.

As Kevin Owens tore into Logan Paul, they were interrupted by Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. Owens ended up hearing enough and punched Theory hard in the face to send him out of the ring before his one-on-one bout with Waller.

Kevin Owens’ Hand Targetted In SmackDown Match

During that match both Theory and Waller took the opportunity to target Owens’ hand, presumably to stop him from being able to punch them in the mouth so easily as he has relished in doing in recent weeks.

On social media, WWE announced that after an x-ray Owens was discovered to have fractured his 4th and 5th metacarpal. Although many believe that this injury is only a part of ongoing storylines.

Kevin Owens is still scheduled to be part of the US Title number one contender tournament and his first match in that will be against Theory, Waller, or the unnamed NXT star who will also be involved.
