WWE Announces Big Change To WWE Hall of Fame
WWE is making some changes.
On March 7, it was announced that Lex Luger would finally be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The former World Champion has been open about his desire to be inducted and recently discussed his ever-improving relationship with the company.
Luger began his career in 1985, before going on to find fame as one of The Four Horsemen while with Jim Crockett Promotions, which later became WCW. Luger joined WWE in 1993 but famously never won the World Championship before heading back to WCW in 1995.
The star quickly reclaimed his position as a top attraction, winning the World Tag Team Titles with Sting and later claiming the World Heavyweight Championship. Luger remained with the company until it was purchased by WWE in 2001 and has spoken openly about his battles with alcohol and drugs during this period.
Luger joins Triple H and Michelle McCool in the class of 2025, with more names expected to be added.
WWE Hall Of Fame Won’t Follow SmackDown
On March 10, it was announced that the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony would take place at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. This means that for the first time in several years, the ceremony won’t directly follow SmackDown as part of the same taping and will return to being a standalone event.
