WWE “All Hands On Deck” For Royal Rumble

WWE Royal Rumble

A new report has suggested that it’s going to be all hands to the pump for WWE at the Royal Rumble which will take place on January 28th.

The 36th annual Royal Rumble event will emanate from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, marking the third time the Rumble has come to the arena.

It is one of the most popular nights of the year with WWE fans as they wait to see who will cement their place in a title match at WrestleMania and equally as important, they will see which surprise entrants will grace the ring in the Rumble matches themselves.

One man that has grabbed the headlines after declaring that he will be part of the men’s Royal Rumble match is Cody Rhodes. His vignettes promoting his return to the ring after seven months out with injury culminated in him declaring for the bout and he is one of the favourites to outlast 29 opponents and take his first step on the road to WrestleMania.

As a sign of how important the night is to WWE, PWInsider has reported that it is “all hands on deck” in the company for the event. WWE Superstars that aren’t working at the Rumble are being brought in for appearances and projects linked to the WWE Network/Peacock. It is also noted that some of the company’s NIL recruits may well be on hand over the Rumble weekend as well.

In addition to the two Rumble matches, Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens, Bianca Belair puts her Raw Women’s Title on the line against Alexa Bliss, and Bray Wyatt will do battle with LA Knight in the ominously named Mountain Dew Pitch Black match.
