WWE Agrees Deal To Send Talent To Indie Promotion

Triple H WWE Raw

WWE is branching out.

2024 has been the year of the working partnership for WWE, and fans are still getting used to this bold new era.

Since the turn of the year WWE has regularly worked with TNA, Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, Marigold, and AJPW among others with several top stars jumping between promotions. Meanwhile, ahead of SummerSlam, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa appeared at an AIW event in Cleveland.

It’s now been revealed that the company is looking to help its young stars get more experience on the independent circuit.

As reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, several NXT Level Up talents will be heading to Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling going forward.

They will be sending NXT Level Up talent to Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling shows going forward. They’ve had NXT talent on his shows a few times. The talk is that six of the wrestlers would be going.

WWE Ties To Reality Of Wrestling Run Deep

The agreement shouldn’t come as much of a surprise given Booker T has been a WWE staple for years, and currently serves as the colour commentator on NXT. Booker T has also provided rising NXT stars spots at his events in the past.

Meanwhile, another two link between the sports entertainment giant and Reality of Wrestling is Roxanne Perez. The current NXT Champion was trained by Booker T from the age of 16, before wrestling at ROW events as she learned her craft.

Perez eventually signed with Ring of Honor in 2021, before jumping to the sports entertainment giant a year later. Despite being just 22 years of age, Perez is considered one of the most promising female stars in WWE, while enjoying her second run with the NXT Women’s Title.
