A member of the WWE roster is wrestling at an upcoming independent show that is run by a Hall of Famer.

Booker T is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer who has been part of the company in different roles for most of the past 23 years. Since retiring as a wrestler, Booker has focused on training talent at his Reality of Wrestling school, he is a successful podcaster and he’s been an announcer on the WWE NXT brand for a couple of years.

Due to his connection with the NXT brand, WWE has oftentimes sent wrestlers to Booker’s Reality of Wrestling promotion.

It was announced by Booker T on Twitter/X that NXT’s Duke Hudson will be appearing at Reality of Wrestling’s Blitz show on February 10th, which is one night before the NFL Super Bowl takes place.

Reality of Wrestling has yet to announce who Hudson will be wrestling on the show.

What Is Happening To Chase U On WWE NXT?

While Duke Hudson was a heel on the WWE NXT brand when it was relaunched as 2.0 in September 2021, he has thrived in his role as a babyface wrestler as part of the Chase U group with Andre Chase.

This past week on the January 23rd episode of WWE NXT, Chase U’s Andre Chase & Duke Hudson were part of a segment where some of the supplies belonging to the school were being repossessed due to Chase’s gambling debts and inability to pay the debts back.

There has been an ongoing story also about how Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail are trying to raise funds to save the school. Chase plans to say goodbye to Chase U on the January 30th episode of NXT, but perhaps there will be a miracle that saves the “university” from closing.
