WWE & AEW Champions Proudly Show Off Titles Together
Title holders in AEW and WWE have shown off their prizes.
Mercedes Mone and Bayley have been close friends for over a decade having bonded during their time together in NXT. That friendship has seen the pair create magic in the ring, both in opposition and in tandem, with their match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn the stuff of legend.
Although they now work for separate companies, their friendship remains intact, with Bayley on hand to watch Mone make her AEW debut back in March.
With AEW and WWE both in New York around Forbidden Door weekend, Mone and Bayley linked back up at the House of Glory gym in Brooklyn to pose with their respective title belts. In WWE, Bayley is the current Women’s Champion, while Mone holds the TBS Championship in AEW.

Former WWE Star Set To Land In AEW
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Ricochet is expected to sign with AEW in the coming weeks.
The star’s agent was backstage during the July 3rd episode of Dynamite, with a deal expected to be completed “soon.” Ricochet became a free agent on July 1st after letting his contract expire.
When he signed for WWE in 2018, Ricochet was one of the most in-demand stars on the planet after starring in Dragon Gate and PWG.
Elsewhere, Dijak has claimed Tony Khan is aware of his interest in joining AEW.
