Worrying Update On Charlotte Flair’s WWE Future

Charlotte Flair has been missing from WWE since December 2023 and after reports that she’s being factored into plans, a new update has poured cold water on that suggestion.

The most successful female star in WWE history, Charlotte Flair has been out of action after suffering a serious knee injury in early December 2023. During a match with Asuka, Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus and quickly underwent surgery.

At the time it was reported the star would be out of action for nine months, meaning that return could be on the cards at any time now but it seems that might not be the case after all.

WWE Not Expecting Charlotte Flair In 2024

Fightful Select has issued an update on Flair after reports emerged suggesting she was factored into creative plans with WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Ms Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton. WWE sources have confirmed that Charlotte Flair is not cleared to compete and there is a belief that it could be some time yet before she is cleared due to the extent of her injuries.

WWE sources had at one point suggested that there was no expectation Charlotte Flair would wrestle in 2024 and until she is cleared it was noted that it’s unlikely any creative plans will be put in place.
