William Regal Reacts To Triple H Leaving His Boots In The Ring At WrestleMania
William Regal has paid tribute to Triple H after ‘The King of Kings’ left his boots in the ring at WrestleMania, calling time on his legendary career.
On April 3rd, WrestleMania Sunday was opened by an unexpected appearance from Triple H. ‘The Game’ performed his trademark entrance and welcomed everybody to WrestleMania. On leaving, Triple H left his wrestling boots in the middle of the ring as a symbol that his wrestling days are now behind him.
The 14-time World Champion recently confirmed that he would never be able to compete in the ring again following serious heart surgery back in 2021.
After the emotional WrestleMania moment, AEW star William Regal took to Twitter to pay tribute to his friend and former colleague.
“For 28 years we did our bit together, through up’s and down and some bad but mostly good decisions, to be Pro’s and make the job right. Lots of people got opportunities and made memories for themselves. Job done pal.x”
