William Regal Returns To WWE TV
William Regal is back in the spotlight in WWE, returning to NXT television one year after he returned to the company.
William Regal was fired by WWE in January 2022 amid ongoing changes backstage in NXT when Triple H was out of action due to his serious medical issues. Regal found himself in AEW not long after where he formed the Blackpool Combat Club with Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli.
However, Regal’s time in AEW proved to be short and he was on his way out of the company after requesting his release from Tony Khan late in 2022. In January 2023, Regal was back in WWE but part of the agreement was that he would not appear on TV during the time of his original AEW contract but that time is now up.
William Regal Meets New WWE NXT GM
William Regal had formerly held the on-screen role as NXT General Manager and on the 23rd of January edition of the show, Regal returned to TV to meet the newest holder of that position – Ava.
