Will Ospreay has branded one former WWE star a “legend.”

On the May 11th episode of Collision, Adam Copeland successfully defended the TNT Title against Kyle O’Reilly in a hard-hitting main event. The clash is the latest in a quickly growing list of impressive outings from Copeland who continues to roll back the years week in and week out.

Despite his advancing years and history of serious injuries, Copeland continues to perform at an incredibly high level earning praise from fans and the media.

One person who has been impressed by the veteran is Will Ospreay.

In a new post on social media, Ospreay said it was “f*cking awesome” Copeland is in AEW still delivering high-quality matches.

The one thing that needs to be said out loud.

AJ Styles Tried To Get Will Ospreay To Join WWE

While Will Ospreay and Adam Copeland are currently starring in AEW, in an alternate universe both men could be going toe-to-toe with AJ Styles in WWE. In a recent interview, Will Ospreay revealed AJ Styles tried to get him to sign with WWE before he eventually became All Elite in 2023.

The British star said Styles had always been something of a hero, describing him as “everything I wanted to become.” However, despite the chat from Styles, Ospreay said he knew he had to become All Elite.
