Why WWE Is Now Too Calm For The Undertaker
There have been many changes in WWE since Triple H took over from Vince McMahon but according to The Undertaker, there’s one change that doesn’t sit easy with him.
Vince McMahon was forced to resign as Executive Chairman of TKO after he was the subject of a lawsuit accusing McMahon of serious sexual assault and sex trafficking.
Triple H has taken over the day-to-day running of WWE’s creative direction since his father-in-law fell on his sword and there have been many changes ever since.
But while fans have almost greeted Triple H’s vision with universal approval, there’s a change in WWE that The Undertaker isn’t a fan of.
The Undertaker Thinks WWE Is Too Calm Under Triple H
Speaking on Booker T’s Hall of Fame podcast, The Undertaker explained that under Triple H’s leadership, there is a new calm backstage in the company and an absence of a whirlwind of last-minute changes that had become a staple under Vince McMahon. While that might seem like a good thing, The Undertaker reckons things are now too calm backstage:
It’s crazy to me how calm everything is backstage now. You know, Paul’s demeanour is so chill. Every time I see him, he’s got time to sit down and explain something to you. It’s just not that helter-skelter fire drill anymore – which I thrived in. You had to be able to do that.
I just remember working on a promo all day long, and then 10 minutes before you go out, it’s completely changed. You had to come up with something and you gotta go do it. You gotta do it live. It’s so calm, it’s almost too calm for me.
The Undertaker has explained why he’s seriously concerned about the current generation of wrestling stars as he explains another difference from the past he doesn’t like.
