WWE’s 4th of July episode of SmackDown will be pre-taped.

Tickets for WWE SmackDown’s 4th of July show have not gone on sale yet, and many fans are eager to know why. According to a report from WrestleVotes, the show will be pre-taped.

The WWE roster has a hectic schedule in June. In addition to the weekly shows, WWE will feature Money In The Bank and Night Of Champions. The latter of the two PLEs will be taking place in Saudi Arabia along with the episode of SmackDown that week. The week after Night Of Champions is when the shows get back to the USA, however, that week’s Friday Night Show falls on the 4th of July, which is a major holiday in the country.

In the recent WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, the absence of WWE advertising the 4th of July episode of SmackDown was discussed. According to WrestleVotes, the show may be pre-taped on the Monday before the holiday so that the roster wouldn’t have to work on the holiday.

“Nothing schedule-wise that would prevent it. It does seem like it’s going to be a pre-taped show. No tickets on sale yet, no date. We’re five weeks out or so. I’d imagine because of the holiday, they’re going to give the guys the night off, and it will be taped on that Monday night.”

WWE later confirmed that the 30th June episode of WWE RAW in Pittsburgh will play host to the taping for that week’s SmackDown.

What Can Happen On SmackDown This Week?

The card for SmackDown isn’t out yet, but the WWE Universe can expect the Money In The Bank picture to get clearer. So far, there are two men and two women who have yet to be determined for the ladder match at the PLE.

Last week’s episode of the Blue Brand ended in chaos when The Wyatt Sicks returned to SmackDown. They laid out everyone in sight, and this week, one can only imagine what they plan on doing.
