Why Roman Reigns Must Face Ex-WWE Champion At Clash In Paris

Roman Reigns has been advertised to appear at Clash in Paris.

Initially, there were speculations about his going on a brief hiatus to film his scenes for the Street Fighter movie, set for a 2026 release.

As a result, he endured a beatdown at the hands of The Vision faction, including Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed, on the August 4 episode of WWE RAW.

Reed, especially, was the main damage-dealer, hitting three Tsunamis on an already denigrated Tribal Chief.

However, WWE seemingly altered his schedule and promoted his presence at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on August 18.

Initially, fans guessed that he might feature in a six-man tag team match at the Paris PLE, teaming with CM Punk and LA Knight against The Vision trio of Rollins, Breakker, and Reed.

The Stamford promotion, though, threw a curveball, announcing a 4-way match for the World Heavyweight Championship featuring Rollins, Punk, Knight, and Jey Uso.

So, this left fans wondering how Roman Reigns could fit into the scheme of things at Clash in Paris. There may be an answer.

Roman Reigns Must Face Bronson Reed At Clash In Paris

Roman Reigns has still not forgotten the events of WrestleMania 41, where he was betrayed by Paul Heyman, who chose to align with Seth Rollins.

While Reigns is hell-bent on revenge, he’s forgotten Rollins’ muscles in Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Reed, who is a former NXT North American Champion, has not only laid waste to Reigns but also stolen his shoes on two occasions, calling himself Shoe-la Fala, a spin on Roman Reigns’ Ula Fala, a traditional Samoan necklace.

On the latest episode of his NotSam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts discussed his take on Reigns’ opponent at the Paris event.

I think that with the Shoe-la Fala, with Bronson Reed being the savage that he has been, stealing the shoes off of Roman Reigns’ feet, I think that…that’s what comes to a head at Clash in Paris. [12:34 onwards]
