What Toni Storm Really Thinks Of Old Rival Blake Monroe
AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm has revealed what she really thinks of her old rival now that she’s firmly part of WWE.
Toni Storm and Mariah May’s stories intertwined in AEW for well over a year, with May appearing to be a loyal friend and admirer of the Timeless star. However, when she won the right to challenge Storm for the AEW Women’s World Title by winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, May betrayed Storm with a sickening attack.
The two women traded the AEW Women’s Title in their respective home countries before they clashed in a “Hollywood Ending” at Revolution in March 2025. That proved to be May’s last outing in AEW, as it soon became clear that she had eyes on a switch to WWE and made that move later in the year.
May is now known as Blake Monroe, but despite the name change, the betrayals continued as she quickly stabbed Jordynne Grace in the back, going on to defeat The Juggernaut at Heatwave.
Toni Storm Is A Fan Of Blake Monroe
Appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show, Toni Storm was asked how she feels about Blake Monroe and admitted she’s glad she banished the woman once known as Mariah May:
We’ve all had relationships like Mariah haven’t we, that end in broken glass, fist fights, bloody kisses. What can I say about Mariah? She’s the single most evil, cold-hearted bitch I’ve ever met in my life. I can honestly say that. And I’m glad that I’ve banished her. I really did compromise her to a permament end.
But I’m a big fan of that Blake Monroe.
Toni Storm will face three challengers for her AEW Women’s World Championship at All Out as she clashes with Thekla, Jamie Hayter, and Kris Statlander.
