Vince McMahon’s Potential Path Back To WWE Revealed
Vince McMahon may have the perfect plan to make his way back to WWE.
In 2022, the former WWE Chairman had to step down amid allegations of misconduct. Although he returned the following year to facilitate the sale of the company to Endeavor, he left again in early 2024 after being sued for alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking by former employee Janel Grant.
Following his departure from WWE, the 80-year-old launched a new company, 14 & I, which is focused on sports, media, and entertainment. The move sparked rumors suggesting the former chairman could be trying to buy back his former promotion.
Vince McMahon Could Return To WWE With Saudi Help
In a recent interview with -7 Sports, former WWE head writer Vince Russo disclosed that he believes Vince McMahon will once again return to the Stamford-based company.
The wrestling veteran claimed the former chairman will play the role of the middleman in a potential sale of the company to the Saudi government.
I firmly believe, you know, Vince McMahon started that company. What is it? 14 & I or something like that. Bro, they’re gonna sell to the Saudis. There’s no question about it. Vince McMahon is gonna get that deal done. He’s gonna kinda like be the middleman. I think that’s why he created that company. And then once the Saudis buy that company, Vince McMahon is gonna be right back in the saddle again running it for them. And, bro, I believe that’s coming quickly. I believe, bro, that could be here within the next two years. If the Saudi’s bought it and Vince brokered the deal, he would be running that company from day one. [12:22 onwards]
