Vince McMahon’s Guilt Questioned In National Poll

Vince McMahon looking shocked

A poll has given some insight into how many Americans believe the sexual assault allegations made against former WWE boss Vince McMahon.

In January 2024, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE. The lawsuit contained allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking.

Among the allegations in the suit, Grant claimed that McMahon recruited a “Physical Therapist” from an “Alternative Clinic” to participate in threesomes with the pair. Grant claims she was forced into these sex acts and others by the former WWE boss.

There were also allegations that McMahon offered potential sexual encounters with Grant in a bid to get Brock Lesnar to re-sign with the company. Ultimately, this led to Vince McMahon resigning from his role in TKO, ending his long association with WWE completely.

Vince McMahon Allegations Put To The Public

Now, a YouGov America poll has asked members of the public if they believe the sexual assault allegations made against Vince McMahon, as well as a whole host of famous faces such as Sean “Diddy” Combs, R. Kelly, and President Donald Trump.

Only 24% of those polled noted they believed the allegations made against McMahon, but his support was even lower in number, as 9% said they definitely did not believe them. The overwhelming response, as far as McMahon was those not sure, who totalled 68%.

Over half of those polled also believed the allegations of wrongdoing committed by WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the US President had more people come out in his defence, with 25% saying they didn’t and 25% being not sure.
