Vince McMahon Will Be At WrestleMania 39

Vince McMahon strong-armed his way back onto WWE’s Board of Directors in early 2023 and ever since, fans have been expecting that at some point, he will seize back creative control of the company.

However, WWE maintains that McMahon’s role as Executive Chairman is chiefly so he can oversee media rights deals and pursue strategic alternatives for the company as they look for a potential buyer of the company.

Tongues were wagging, however, when Vince McMahon attended a recent Raw in Boston. Although McMahon was said to be there to visit John Cena it was reported that he spent the night at the Gorilla Position back in his old seat between Triple H and Bruce Prichard but was said to have no visible role in producing the show.

PWInsider has now reported that Vince McMahon will again be at WWE events as he will be in attendance at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles. McMahon is sure to enjoy a lower profile than at 2022’s event when he competed in what was surely – hopefully – the final match of his career against Pat McAfee. For old time’s sake, McMahon also took one last Stone Cold Stunner – widely considered the worst one of all time – at WrestleMania 38.

WWE CEO Nick Khan recently commented on Vince McMahon’s current involvement in creative issues in WWE and says that McMahon is “not that involved” in them.
