Vince McMahon Wants To Buy WWE Back

Vince McMahon holding money WWE

It might be the weirdest twist in wrestling history, but according to an ex-WWE star, Vince McMahon wants to buy his former company back.

WWE was taken over by Endeavor in September 2023, putting it under the TKO umbrella alongside UFC. That brought an end to Vince McMahon’s four-decade-long ownership of the company, although he was made the Executive Chairman of TKO.

However, that position proved to be short-lived as Vince McMahon was forced to resign as a result of a lawsuit that accused him of serious sexual assault and sex trafficking related to his time in charge of WWE.

Since then, the company has moved on with barely a mention of McMahon, but it seems there’s a part of him that wants WWE back.

Will Vince McMahon Buy Back WWE?

Speaking on Coach & Bro, ex-WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman was unsure if McMahon would get his company back, but claimed that he knew that’s what McMahon wanted:

I mentioned on Twitter and I’ve been, by the way, going viral. You probably seen I’ve been quoted everywhere when I talked about Vince re-buying. I’ve been quoted everywhere. And the one thing I’ve yet to be wrong about, anything. And so now all of a sudden I’m getting all of these websites because I have educated views and I also have people that are tipping me off. Now, do I know hundred percent he’s going to buy? I know he wants to.

Given the amounts of money involved with WWE, including their $5 billion deal with Netflix, it seems unlikely McMahon could purchase the company even if he wanted to without some serious financial backing.
