Major Update On Severity Of Seth Rollins’ Injury
Seth Rollins suffered a legitimate injury at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The Visionary squared off with LA Knight last night. During the match, the 39-year-old landed awkwardly, seemingly injuring his knee.
Despite initially collapsing in the corner, the former World Heavyweight Champion stood up to receive a BFT from his opponent to lose the match. Rollins was then filmed being helped to the back by WWE’s medical team during the commercial break.
While WWE has yet to announce more details about The Visionary’s injury, Fightful Select reported that he was backstage at Evolution 2, where his wife, Becky Lynch, defended her Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
According to the report, Rollins was on crutches and had a knee brace. People who have seen and interacted with him have also stated that his injury “looked bad.”

Seth Rollins’ Potential Absence May Lead To Major WWE SummerSlam Match
On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts addressed the possible creative changes that could follow Seth Rollins’ injury. The 41-year-old claimed The Visionary’s potential absence could lead to Roman Reigns’ return ahead of SummerSlam.
Roberts pointed out that The OTC could square off with Bron Breakker at The Biggest Party of the Summer for the first time ever.
If we don’t have Seth Rollins for SummerSlam, you could do, like Roman Reigns vs. Bron Breakker, or you could have Roman Reigns return at SummerSlam. The fact that he didn’t return tonight on Saturday Night’s Main Event, he could return at SummerSlam proper. Not have Roman Reigns have a match; have him return as a surprise at the end of SummerSlam and go forward maybe with Gunther? Maybe he gets involved in the John Cena-Cody Rhodes story; maybe you set up a singles thing between Roman Reigns and CM Punk.
