Major Update On Bryan Danielson’s Injury Status

Bryan Danielson in AEW

A new update has cast doubt on Bryan Danielson’s immediate wrestling future, with claims the star could be set to miss out on two huge shows.

The American Dragon is scheduled to be on AEW Dynamite in Milwaukee where he is expected to address the upcoming supershow with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Forbidden Door.

Bryan Danielson’s last outing in the ring came in the Anarchy In The Arena match at Double Or Nothing where he lost the match for his team to The Jericho Appreciation Society after being simultaneously trapped in the Walls of Jericho and choked out by Jake Hager.

Since then Danielson has been dealing with an undisclosed injury that also caused him to miss a recent advertised meet and greet. The former WWE Champion is also expected to be a part of the upcoming Blood and Guts match as the Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz go to war once again with Jericho’s group.

Now Bryan Alvarez speaking on Wrestling Observer Live has cast doubt on Bryan Danielson’s ability to appear at Forbidden Door or at Blood and Guts:

“The impression that I was given as of today is that he is not cleared and he might not be cleared for a while. He could show up tomorrow and they announce the match and he does it with Zack Sabre Jr. But at this point, I’m thinking that the match is not going to take place and I’m also thinking that he may not be doing Blood & Guts. But that is not confirmed.”

NJPW star Zack Sabre Jr. has challenged Danielson to wrestle him on June 26th in Chicago but any answers on Danielson’s status should be answered on Dynamite.
