Update On Brian Pillman Jr. Training At WWE PC

There’s been some further information on the current status of Brian Pillman Jr. after he was spotted at the WWE Performance Center over the last few days.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Brian Pillman Jr., who had been with All Elite Wrestling for the last year, no longer appeared on the company’s roster page and his contract had been allowed to expire. This led to an AEW legend saying that, while he has every confidence Pillman will have a successful career, things just weren’t working out in AEW.

This led to talk that, just days later, Pillman was at the WWE Performance Center to train. As you can expect, the rumor mill quickly started that the company had moved swiftly to sign him to a contract.

A new report from Fightful Select has shed some light on the situation. The report does confirm that Brian Pillman Jr was seen by numerous people at the Performance Center this week, they had spoken to WWE sources who confirmed he was not signed to a deal with the company. His time there was seemingly more of a “get to know you” meeting, although WWE were interested in speaking to the generational star as soon as he became available.

The report went on to note that, whilst many of these sorts of dealings at the PC are kept behind closed doors, Pillman was in plain sight during his time there. There will no doubt be more updates in the coming days, however at the present time Pillman remains a free agent.
