Wrestling is laced with danger and Action Andretti suffered a scare in a recent match that had to be stopped but the star himself has now offered a positive update on his condition.

Action Andretti burst onto the scene in AEW on the 14th of December 2022 Winter Is Coming edition of Dynamite when he perpetrated the biggest upset in company history by beating former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.

Since then Andretti had been involved in ongoing issues with other members of The Jericho Appreciation Society. As recently as the 10th of March Andretti lost to Sammy Guevara on an episode of Rampage.

On the 24th of March AEW held a mammoth set of tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida which saw thirty-six matches take place. Andretti was in action twice, taking on Nick Comoroto for Dark: Elevation before later facing Slim J on Dark.

However, the match with Slim J might not make air as it had to be stopped due to an apparent injury to Andretti. The referee stopped the bout and a doctor rushed to the ring to check on the star and while he was able to stand on his own, he was helped to the back.

Taking to social media, Action Andretti has now offered a reassuring update and says that he didn’t suffer any injuries:

“To anyone wondering, I did not suffer any injuries yesterday at the dark tapings in Orlando and am 100% healthy! I want to thank the AEW medical team and the rest of the AEW staff for taking the proper safety precautions to ensure that I was ok and no had no serious injuries.”
