Unused WWE Star Promises “Big Change Coming”

WWE Battle Royal Crown Jewel 2019

Eric Young was believed to be back with WWE following his most recent exit from IMPACT Wrestling in December 2022 but now the star is teasing a big change in his future.

PWInsider previously reported that Young was returning to WWE following an angle that took place on IMPACT Wrestling to write him out of that company. The report from PWInsider noted that there is no word yet on when Young will make his return to WWE or what brand he might be on.

As it transpired, Young has not appeared on WWE television since he was apparently “killed” to see his time in IMPACT come to an end when he was apparently stabbed by his former Violent By Design partner Deaner.

With his WWE status unknown, Eric Young took to social media to note that a big change was on the way and hinted that he’d recently been given some bad news:

“Time to work!!!! When the world hands you lemons…… we’ll you know the rest! See you all again real soon! BIG CHANGE COMING!!!”

Hiring practices at Vince McMahon’s company remain up in the air with the company said to be going through an unofficial hiring freeze while the takeover by Endeavor is finalized. That issue appeared to scupper Colby Corino’s employment status with the company after originally being offered a contract. It is not known if something similar has happened with Young at this time.
