Two WWE Stars Apparently Written Off TV Ahead Of Upcoming Draft

WWE NXT Tag Team Match

The WWE Draft is on the horizon and it could mean a big move for two NXT stars following Spring Breakin’ that saw Pretty Deadly wind up pretty dead.

On the 25th of April edition of NXT television, the former NXT Tag Team Champions took on Tony D’Angelo and Stacks Lorenzo in the first-ever trunk match. The object of the bout was similar to that of a casket match but rather than stuff your opponents inside a casket, the winners were the team who got both of their opponents in the trunk of a car.

With D’Angelo and Lorenzo apparently having more experience in such matters, it was no great surprise that they picked up the win over their English opponents. The two men drove Pretty Deadly away in the car and later on the show alluded to the fact that they were now “sleeping with the fishes.”

Presuming that WWE has not actually shown two men committing murder on one of its TV shows, the move is widely believed to be a way to finish up Kit Wilson and Elton Prince on NXT television suggesting that they will be heading to Raw or SmackDown in the upcoming WWE Draft.

One NXT star however has recently explained why they’d be more than happy to miss out on a main roster move and remain on the developmental brand this time around.
