Trish Stratus Discusses Her WWE Future Beyond WrestleMania
Trish Stratus made a hero’s return to WWE in recent weeks and aligned herself with her former on-screen rival Lita and Becky Lynch in the midst of their feud with Damage CTRL.
On the 27th of February edition of Raw, Trish Stratus returned to WWE television to help Becky Lynch and Lita in their quest to become WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions against IYO SKY and Dakota Kai. Stratus helped even the odds against Damage CTRL who had Bayley interfering on their behalf throughout the bout.
The six women will compete at WrestleMania 39 in a huge six-woman tag team match but questions remain about Trish Stratus’ status after the showpiece event.
Speaking to Shakiel Mahjouri of SHAK Wrestling, Stratus was asked if WrestleMania was going to be a one-off and says she has lots to consider moving forward:
“I mean for now, it’s let’s get to WrestleMania and see what’s gonna happen and then yeah, it’s a big, you know, departure. I’m doing judging for Canada’s Got Talent as you know. My businesses and my babies. So, it’s only been a couple weeks on the road, I’m like, woo, yeah, okay. It’s quite the balance. I got child care in place so there’s all these things to consider…
“I have to go train at night time. When I put my kids to bed, I go train from 9 till midnight so, it’s all these things to consider so, it’s definitely not full-time. I can’t do this as a full-time job right now because there’s other jobs as well but I mean, let’s get to WrestleMania and see what happens.”
