Trish Stratus On What She Would Tell Her Younger Self
Trish Stratus is one week away from a return to action at WrestleMania 39 and has taken the opportunity to reflect on her earlier career.
With a legacy that includes competing in the first ever match between females to main event Raw, Trish Stratus is one of the most popular Superstars of all time.
The Seven Time WWE Women’s Champion has now opened up on what advice she would share with a young Trish.
Whilst appearing on Vibe 105 Sports, Trish discussed what life was like on the road in WWE and that she wished that during the success, she had been able to be more in the moment.
“Sometimes in this business, it moves so fast and it’s really a frenetic pace.”
“Suddenly you’re famous, then you’re going at this pace, and you have 300 days … you’re on the road, you’re wrestling, you’re doing appearances. It’s so crazy. Stop and really smell the roses. It sounds so cliche to say but it goes by so quick, and really realize how special this is. I feel like there’s only a handful of people in the world who can do what we do, so recognize that, and really relish in it.”
Heading into the final week in the Road to WrestleMania, Trish Stratus is gearing up to team up with her former noughties foe, Lita, and The Man Becky Lynch.
The trio will be taking on Damage Ctrl, led by Bayley, who recently attacked Trish backstage on Raw.
Jim Ross has also been discussing the return of Trish Stratus and Lita, and how the male talent reacted when the pair main evented Raw in December 2004.
With a legacy that has paved the way for female talent to main event WrestleMania, the opportunity to mix the past with the present at this year’s Show of Shows, Trish has been discussing adding further glory to her Hall of Fame career.
