Some of her notable rivals include superstars like Lita, Mickie James, and Victoria.
Post-retirement, she has made numerous sporadic appearances and recently challenged Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s Championship at Evolution.
Outside the squared circle, Trish Stratus is an award-winning businesswoman, with her online retail platform Stratusphere Shop winning the 2021 Canadian Business Award for Best Celebrity News Platform & Online Retailer.
Stratus has also acted in films and TV series, including reality shows and talent show competitions.
Recently, the 49-year-old star shared a behind-the-scenes video on her YouTube platform, celebrating April as the National Anime Month.
In the video, Stratus is in a photoshoot, dressed as an anime character, looking unrecognizable.
Trish Stratus Names Her Favorite Match In WWE
Having performed as a babyface and a heel in the Stamford promotion, Trish Stratus has experienced notable rivalries.
She also headlined various WrestleManias, one of which she named her favorite match of her wrestling career.
At the 2006 event, she faced Mickie James, who had debuted on the roster only a few months ago. James claimed to be Stratus’ biggest fan and only became increasingly obsessed with her.
During an appearance at the Big Texas Comic Con, the WWE Hall of Famer said the following:
I would say Mickie James and I at WrestleMania 22. That was such a [audience claps]. We love that one, right? The storylines. And it’s just one of those things where storylines, especially for women, and just storylines in general in wrestling, they just don’t go on and on. They just kind of stop and start and forget — Mickie and I are really proud that we had that storyline. We used to say hashtag longest rivalry ever, but I think maybe me and Becky [Lynch] might have that now, actually.
“But yeah, loved working with her. Loved our crowd reaction at WrestleMania 22 [and] the fact that the crowd was wanting that so badly. Amazing. It was really fun working with her; she’s obviously amazing, so yeah, that’s the one.
Earlier, Trish Stratus discussed never getting a WrestleMania match with her biggest WWE rival.
