Triple H’s WWE Future Allegedly In Serious Doubt

Triple H WWE

WWE Creative Content Officer Triple H has been facing a lot of backlash lately.

Earlier this year, rumors surfaced that Triple H was under fire from TKO due to a perceived creative power struggle with The Rock. The whole controversy surrounding the John Cena-Cody Rhodes storyline at WrestleMania 41 only added fuel to the fire.

That said, fans have been disappointed with the WWE product lately. The WWE Universe on social media has been complaining nonstop about high ticket prices, repetitive storylines, and unnecessary pushes in the company, and the majority of the heat is directed towards HHH.

Speaking on his YouTube podcast, ex-WWE star Stevie Richards examined the situation and shared that HHH’s WWE future might be in jeopardy. He highlighted that all the fan backlash might eventually lead to Triple H’s downfall in WWE.

This definitely feels like a lie hop. Let it happen on purpose. This is definitely something where The Rock is like… I think you brought it up, and I think Russo and Ben brought it up on their show, where he said, Let Triple H be a mark for himself. Let him put himself into everything. Let him try to think he’s indispensable, and we’ll see.
Oh, you’re all over every show, and the ratings have never been lower. The interest has never been lower. People are complaining about the product. Of course, it has to do with ticket prices. We’ll get to that. But yeah, you’re definitely doing everything wrong. You’re the face of this company right now. So, it all relies on you.

The Rock Is Avoiding WWE Because of Triple H

Stevie Richards added that one of the reasons The Rock has kept his distance from WWE is that he believes Triple H will fail, and therefore, doesn’t want to be a part of the company’s doom.
That can’t be an accident that Rock has been so far away from this product and letting Triple H be so entrenched in the product, to literally when you say WWE, what’s the first name you think of? Not Roman Reigns, not Cody Rhodes, not CM Punk, Seth Rollins, ‘Triple H.’ I dare I say you say Triple H, Undertaker, and then TKO, and then somewhere down the line, you start talking about the people on the show. It’s really weird. But I think he’s being set up to fail 100%. (From 8:35 – 9:52)
