Triple H Proclaims WWE Elimination Chamber Show Stealer A “STAR”

Elimination Chamber was a night of high drama, thrills, and spills in Montreal and now Triple H has singled out one competitor on the show as a bona fide “STAR.”

All the talk before Elimination Chamber was about the night’s main event as Sami Zayn challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in Zayn’s hometown of Montreal. The match lived up to the hype as the red-hot crowd got behind Zayn but in the end, as for 900 days before, Roman Reigns escaped with his title intact.

While that match may have been the most talked about before the show, there were undoubtedly fans waxing lyrical about the US Title Elimination Chamber match that also took place. Six of Triple H’s NXT graduates did battle inside the Chamber with Austin Theory’s US Title on the line. Ultimately the champion escaped with his gold after Logan Paul attacked Seth Rollins to cost him the match.

There was plenty to talk about following that bout and Triple H took to social media to note one competitor that had everybody raving – Montez Ford:

“Missed mentioning at the press conference… But @MontezFordWWEis a STAR. #WWEChamber”

Montez Ford had what many believe to be a breakout performance as a singles star at Elimination Chamber. Ford downed his opponents with a unique dive from the top of the Chamber itself that has to be seen to be believed.
