Triple H Urges Top WWE Star To Sign New Deal
Triple H has made a public sales pitch to try and retain the services of one of WWE’s biggest stars.
For the best part of a year, there’s been a huge amount of speculation around Drew McIntyre and his WWE future. There have been claims McIntyre was at one point upset over his pay and creative and he and the company remained a long way apart on terms for a new contract.
Even as recently as March 27th, it was reported that Drew McIntyre hasn’t made a decision on his WWE future. It’s believed that McIntyre’s current deal will expire shortly after WrestleMania 40.
Despite this, during a recent interview with News Day, McIntyre hinted he was happy where he is, and the role he’s currently playing on Raw. Meanwhile, Triple H dismissed suggestions the former World Champion was unhappy, adding that he wants McIntyre to remain with WWE for the rest of his career.
“If Drew had an issue, it’s news to me. He’s an amazing performer. He is one of the highlight superstars in this timeframe in this era . . . Hopefully he’s here for the rest of his career. “
Triple H To Lose Drew McIntyre And Becky Lynch?
The comments from Triple H and McIntyre come after Becky Lynch claimed she’s yet to discuss a new contract with WWE. This is despite the star being in the final two months of her current deal.
In an earlier interview, Becky Lynch said her future was “up for conversation,” however, she stated in December that she wanted to retire with WWE.
