Triple H Slammed For Misbooking 2 Major Stars At WWE SummerSlam

Not everyone is happy with how Triple H and WWE booked Night 1 of SummerSlam PLE.

The event started strong with Roman Reigns and Jey Uso’s tag team match against Bron Breakker and “Big” Bronson Reed.

Fans witnessed an unprecedented incident when Reigns sacrificed himself to save Jey, which allowed the latter to capitalize on the opportunity and secure a win for his team.

The event also saw the women’s tag team titles change hands when Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair beat defending champions Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez of the Judgment Day.

The results of the next two matches seem to have irked quite a few fans, including former WWE talent Matt Morgan.

Morgan was with the Stamford promotion from 2002 to 2005, and currently serves as the deputy mayor of Longwood, Florida.

Matt Morgan Criticizes Triple H Over Karrion Kross And Jade Cargill Bookings

Fans and former WWE stars have previously criticized Triple H for his poor booking of Karrion Kross.

Kross and Sami Zayn had been involved in a personal rivalry culminating in their match at SummerSlam.

Many viewers expected Kross to beat Zayn, but that did not happen, as the Canadian star won convincingly.

A similar outcome in the next match between the WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill disappointed the fans.

Cargill dominated most of the match and was expected to be crowned the new champion, but it ended with Stratton hitting The Prettiest Moonsault for a clean victory.

While Matt Morgan did not directly name Triple H, he expressed his dissatisfaction with these outcomes through a tweet on X.

! You can hear it when the most beloved babyface in the company pinned him! The fans were not feeling it. No disrespect to Sammy.

Secondly don’t put @Jade_Cargill in matches if you’re gonna pin her and not protect her!Tiffy has the most AVERAGE promos of any of the women in that division, respectfully. She’s done nothing to grow the title. I think Jade could!! and this finish was a mistake. You don’t beat somebody that looks like Jade Cargill! If you’re not ready to go full throttle with her, then don’t book her in matches, if that’s the outcome! She had a great match tonight and a great showing, but this does not help her with these visual losses.
