Triple H Missed This Week’s WWE RAW For Shocking Reason

Triple H WWE

Triple H has been holding the creative reins of WWE ever since Vince McMahon stepped down.

Paul Levesque officially became the Head of WWE Creative in July 2022, following Mr. McMahon’s retirement, which occurred after investigations into his personal conduct and company financial dealings. WWE announced on July 25, 2022, confirming that Hunter would assume all creative responsibilities, in addition to his EVP Talent Relations duties.

Before this, The Game had been deeply involved in running WWE’s developmental brand NXT, where he was praised for fresh storylines and building new stars. Since taking over, HHH has implemented sweeping changes, focusing more on in-ring wrestling and long-term storytelling, earning fan and critical praise for revitalizing the product.

Why Was Triple H Absent From RAW This Week?

Netflix’s sports docuseries WWE: Unreal gave an actual glimpse of WWE behind the scenes, where the fans saw how Triple H and his team run each WWE show from the gorilla position. From wrestlers’ cues to directions for the referees, Hunter and company handle every intricate detail very carefully.

This week’s Monday Night RAW (09/08) emanated from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The show had tons of action and drama, but one thing (or should I say one person) was missing, and it was Triple H. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, the Chief Content Officer revealed the reason for his RAW absence this week.

“To be honest, I was not there last night. I haven’t had a chance to watch the show yet because I did Kill Tony last night.”

“Oh, sh*t. I’m not supposed to say that… I forgot. It’s a secret that I’m on there till Monday.”

Triple H Comments On AJ Lee’s Return

AJ Lee returned to WWE on the September 5 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. She was present on this week’s edition of RAW, which HHH missed. This is what Triple H had to say about The Geek Goddess.

When you have four performers who are that talented, and AJ just coming back, it’s been ten years, and she hasn’t missed a beat. Just right in there and as charismatic as ever. Fans are loving it.
