Triple H Sends Heartfelt Message To Jey Uso After Title Loss

Triple H WWE

Triple H acknowledged Jey Uso’s contribution as World Heavyweight Champion.

WWE RAW saw Jey Uso shockingly drop the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther in the main event. Triple H addressed the title change by thanking Uso for his dedication and congratulating the new champion.

Jey Uso became the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 41 by getting Gunther to tap out to the Sleeper Hold. Since then, The Ring General has been on a path to right that wrong and win back what he thinks should be his.

A few weeks ago, WWE announced that the winner of the Title Match between Logan Paul and Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event would defend the championship against Gunther on the RAW after Money In The Bank. Jey Uso retained his title against Paul, but the encounter set up a Tag Team Match for Money In The Bank. At the PLE over the weekend, Uso and Cody Rhodes took on Paul and John Cena in tag team competition. R-Truth’s return got Uso’s team the win, but he had bigger problems on RAW.

In the main event of WWE RAW, Jey Uso put his World Heavyweight Title on the line against Gunther. The former Tag Team Champion wasn’t at a hundred percent after the brutal match over the weekend. The match looked like it would go either way before The Ring General locked Uso in a Sleeper Hold. The champion faded, and the referee called for the bell, resulting in Gunther winning the title. Triple H took to social media to acknowledge the title change and paid his respect to Uso.

Jey Uso’s Run As World Heavyweight Champion

Since winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, The Yeet Master defended the title twice before dropping it to Gunther. His first title defence came within a few weeks after WrestleMania against Seth Rollins. The match ended with Uso getting disqualified after CM Punk and Rollins’ alliance got involved.

The former Bloodline member’s second title defence came against Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event. During the match, John Cena interfered and tried to cost Uso the match, but Cody Rhodes’ return saved the day. Uso was able to retain the title on that occasion.
