Triple H Congratulates WWE’s Newest Champion
Triple H has paid tribute to WWE’s newest champion as they celebrate their first title win on the company’s main roster.
The WWE Speed Championship has given plenty of talents the chance to earn gold in the company in short matches that air exclusively on social media.
The first men’s WWE Speed Champion was Ricochet who won a tournament for the new title that culminated back in May. Andrade defeated the high-flying star for the gold before Ricochet left WWE to join AEW in the summer. But now Andrade’s reign has come to an end.
Dragon Lee defeated Tavion Heights and Akira Tozawa as part of the latest number one contender’s tournament before he clashed with Andrade for the title in a match that aired on the 20th of November. Dragon Lee won the bout before the five-minute time limit expired capturing his title on WWE’s main roster as a result.
