Triple H Confirms Brock Lesnar Is Not Gone From WWE
According to Triple H, nothing has changed regarding Brock Lesnar.
In January, Brock Lesnar was implicated in a lawsuit brought against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE.
Although not named in the suit itself, former WWE employee Janel Grant alleged that McMahon had offered her sexual services to an unnamed former UFC Champion and WWE star. It’s been widely reported that the star in question is Lesnar.
The former World Champion had been scheduled to return to action at the Royal Rumble, but his comeback was scrapped. As was any creative for WrestleMania season, putting an end to speculation he could face Gunther at the spectacular.
WWE has remained quiet on Lesnar’s status but during the post-WrestleMania XL night one press conference, Triple H confirmed the star remains with the company.
At one point, there was a conversation with Brock about Royal Rumble, quite a long time ago. Right now, Brock is at home being Brock. We’ll see where that leads from here. His status is the same as it has been before. Brock is not gone from WWE. He’s just home being Brock,”
Brock Lesnar Could Return To WWE
While many believed that the lawsuit would be the end of Lesnar’s career, as Triple H’s comments indicate, things might not be that simple. It was reported in March there has been a “less than hard-line” drawn between Brock Lesnar and WWE.
At the time the report added there had been no movement in regard to bringing back Lesnar, but it appears he could resume his career.
