Triple H Made Big WWE Change To Help Star’s Families

Stephanie McMahon Triple H

Triple H has paved the way for an important change in WWE that has been to the benefit of all the company’s stars says Randy Orton.

Triple H suffered a serious health scare in 2021 that ended his in-ring career permanently. Since then the WWE Hall of Famer has been out of power in the company before rising again and staying at the top after Endeavor’s takeover of Vince McMahon’s company in September 2022.

Triple H is of course married to Stephanie McMahon and together the couple has three daughters. This family dynamic could well have changed WWE’s approach to business according to Randy Orton.

WWE Giving Leniency For Family Time Thanks To Triple H

Speaking on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Randy Orton opened up about his relationship with Triple H and says he thinks family life and the serious health scare might have given The Game new perspective and that’s benefitted all WWE stars:

He’s very smart with the business. If you have any questions with wrestling, you go to him and you’re gonna get a good answer…as far as a human being, I went to his wedding. I’ve kind of seen him evolve. He has three girls and his oldest girl is just a few years older than mine so we have that in common.

I think recently for him because he had the health scare and everything, I think he realizes how important family time is and that’s one thing that has changed. Back in the day you were missing birthdays, you were missing anniversaries and you were missing holidays. There was really no either way about it [and] you weren’t going to ask for [time] off. Now there’s leniency there.

Now, he’ll make sure that you can get home for the birth of your baby or he’ll make sure that you can get home for that birthday because he understands now how important that is. I think company-wide that’s been a change for the better.

Randy Orton spent eighteen months on the injured list in WWE between 2022 and 2023 before he made his grand return to the company at Survivor Series. Orton joined Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Seth Rollins in defeating The Judgment Day in WarGames.
