Top WWE Tag Team Tease Break-up At Netflix Event

Top WWE talents were present during Netflix’s Tudum 2025 live-event at Kia Forum in Los Angeles on May 31. Fans were screaming the roof off the venue during the entire segment, and WWE may have hidden an Easter egg in that.

The WWE segment had Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, The New Day, and The Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio. Fans were ecstatic during a brief face-off between Mami and The Miracle Kid, but it was the conversation between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods that grabbed the hardcore fan’s attention.

During the Tudum live event, The World Tag Team Champions revealed that their favorite Netflix show was ‘One Piece’. Kingston made a satisfying comparison between the One Piece Slam being exceptionally close to wrestling considering the “huge characters”, “epic battles”, and “a quest to bring home the coveted treasure that everybody in the world wants”.

Woods followed through by revealing that the only thing The New Day disagrees on is who among the both is a bigger fan. This is when the break-up was teased.

Woods turned to Kingston and said, “I might have to One Piece Slam you right now Kof”.

A shocked Kingston turned towards his tag team partner, and promptly responded with, “Hold up! Don’t make me knock that straw hat right off your head bro”.

Before the situation turned sour, Xavier Woods reminded Kofi Kingston that they cannot turn on one another, and the duo agreed that they are a part of something bigger than themselves.

It’s not that fans haven’t wondered about a potential split-up between Woods and Kingston. It was a shock when they turned heel and removed Big E from The New Day, and there is no reason why Triple H won’t split them up and create a frenzy within the fandom!
