Top WWE Star Praises Locker Room Leader Randy Orton
A fellow top star has heaped praise on Randy Orton.
At Survivor Series, Randy Orton returned to WWE for the first time since May 2022. The star had stepped away from the ring due to a back injury that was getting progressively worse and eventually underwent surgery. The Viper was reportedly advised by doctors to hang up his boots but returned looking better than ever.
Speaking in a new interview with James Williams, Kevin Owens reflected on Orton’s return and praised him for his impact backstage as well as in front of the camera.
“I love Randy. I’m so happy he’s back and he’s much needed. To me, having him around in the locker room is an absolute positive. You know, there are just some people, besides the fact that he’s a fantastic performer and he’s a legend, there are just some people that are good to have around.
He’s good to have around, he’s good for morale and he brings a sense of, you know, there are people now which is what I love about our locker room. There are people who are leaders without saying I am a leader. They don’t need to be. They just are, Randy is one of them. So when he’s around, everyone steps up their game because Randy Orton is here, and I love that.”
Following his return at Survivor Series, Randy Orton said he plans to stay with WWE for ten more years.
