Top WWE Star “Cut At The Last Minute” From Raw
After a controversial ending to WrestleMania 39, the theme continued on Monday Night Raw as it seems big changes are afoot in WWE.
Of course, the biggest change in the company is that it is now on its way to being owned by Endeavor and merged into a new company with UFC. The $21 billion deal sees Vince McMahon become Executive Chairman of that new company while WWE CEO Nick Khan will become President of the brand.
While Triple H has been running the creative side of WWE since McMahon briefly retired in July 2022, it appears McMahon is back in charge and was very much running the show at Raw in Los Angeles. A report suggested several last-minute changes to the show were made – an indication of McMahon’s hand on the tiller – and one of those changes saw Bayley cut from the show.
Bayley had caused some speculation over her WWE future after she took to social media over the weekend to say:
“And sometimes the most romantic love story comes to an end. Bye”

Fightful Select has reported that Bayley was scheduled to be part of Monday Night Raw accompanying Damage CTRL for their match against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. The report notes that in regards to Bayley “for some reason she was cut at the last minute.”
Bayley recently attended the New Japan Pro Wrestling show where her close friend and former tag team partner Mercedes Mone competed for the first time since leaving her former home and became IWGP Women’s Champion.
