Tony Khan Sends Pointed Message To “Bald A**holes” Triple H & Shawn Michaels
AEW President Tony Khan isn’t pulling any punches as Dynamite goes head to head with WWE NXT on October 10th.
With Major League Baseball playoffs airing on TBS on Wednesday night, Dynamite is set to go head to head with NXT on October 10th. The special Title Tuesday edition of Dynamite will not only feature multiple title matches, it will also see the in-ring debut of Adam Copeland as he takes on Luchasaurus.
NXT, meanwhile, is also looking to put on a blockbuster show, announcing appearances from main roster stars John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Asuka, and Paul Heyman in addition to NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and North American Champion Dominik Mysterio.
Both promotions have announced that the first thirty minutes of their broadcasts will run commercial-free, and AEW will also feature a ten-minute overrun to help bolster their ratings even further.
Ahead of the big night, Haus of Wrestling reported that Triple H and Shawn Michaels were looking to send a message about All Elite Wrestling still having a “long way to go” in terms of competition with the sports entertainment giant.
“I Have A Message For Them” – Tony Khan
Responding to Haus of Wrestling’s report on social media, Tony Khan sent a pointed message to Triple H and Shawn Michaels, telling them to watch Title Tuesday. Along with his message was an image saying “Bald A**hole,” giving the business-related shots a personal flair.
“I have a message for them: See you TONIGHT at a special Tuesday Night #AEWDynamite: Title Fight Tuesday At 8pm ET/7pm CT on @TBSNetwork. At least the first 30 Minutes Are Commercial-Free, + a big overrun TONIGHT!”

For what it’s worth, the October 3rd episode of NXT outdrew the October 4th episode of AEW Dynamite in terms of total viewership, but Dynamite had a higher rating in the key 18-49 year old demographic.
