Tony Khan Addresses MJF’s Absence From AEW
MJF has not been seen in AEW in 2024 but Tony Khan wants to see the former AEW World Champion back in the fold as soon as possible.
MJF lost the AEW World Title to Samoa Joe at Worlds End in December 2023 in a heartbreaking fashion. Not only did he lose his gold, but he also lost his best friend as Adam Cole revealed himself to be AEW’s Devil that had been haunting MJF.
MJF Would Add A Lot To AEW Says Tony Khan
Speaking at the post-Dynasty media scrum, Tony Khan was asked about MJF and a potential return to AEW for the star, something that Khan wants to happen in the very near future:
MJF, one of the biggest stars in AEW, we haven’t seen him in recent months. I would love to get MJF back here sooner. Sooner than later, like really soon. We have so many great things happening and I think that would be really added. He’s one of our great wrestlers and we’ve had great things happening in AEW lately.
A lot of great milestones in the last couple of months. Everything is going great for AEW right now, that would be something that would add a lot. That’d be awesome to have MJF back, and soon, I would love that.
Samoa Joe lost the title he won from MJF at Dynasty as Swerve Strickland made AEW history in St. Louis as the company truly became Swerve’s House.
