ROH will have their first set of tapings in the can very soon, after Tony Khan starting revealing details of when and where they will take place.

Tony Khan announced he had purchased Ring of Honor back in the spring of 2022, and since then the events have been fairly sparse, with just a couple of standalone pay-per-views and a special tribute to the late Jay Briscoe. This doesn’t mean the brand has disappeared entirely, as the title belts have been regularly defended on AEW programming.

Earlier this month, Dave Meltzer noted that talent being pulled from independent events at the end of February was a sign of things to come, and that announcements would likely be coming soon after.

They pulled people off of some indies on the 25th (of February) for Ring of Honor television. Wheeler Yuta was pulled and Trish Adora and I’m not sure who else – one or two others. My guess is Tony Khan will – look, it’s three weeks from now he better make an announcement soon. So I’m figuring by Tuesday or Wednesday he’ll say something and we’ll get more details on what this is and what it entails.

Now, Tony Khan has gone a step further and confirmed that the tapings will indeed take place on 25th and 26th February.

In a discussion with Busted Open Radio, the AEW head honcho also revealed that they will take place in Orlando, Florida, with tickets set to go on sale on 16th February. He is also set to use the match between Mark Briscoe and Josh Woods on this week’s Dynamite as an opportunity announce further details.

The big news will surround where the show will air, although there has been plenty of speculation that it will be shown on the promotion’s online HonorClub streaming service.
