Tony Khan Says Dynamite Announcement “Exciting Development” For AEW

Tony Khan has kept fans guessing as he touts another of his big announcements that will be made on AEW Dynamite.

Excalibur noted on commentary during Rampage in Laredo, Texas that on the upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite to be held in Phoenix, Arizona Tony Khan will be making an “important announcement.” What the announcement could be remains to be seen although Khan recently noted that a possible second Forbidden Door show with New Japan Pro Wrestling could well happen.

Ahead of Dynamite, Tony Khan spoke to the Phoenix New Times and gave a small insight into what fans can expect when asked if the announcement was linked to Forbidden Door 2:

“There are a lot of exciting things in the near future for AEW. All I can say is we have an important announcement coming at this show in Phoenix. And it’s an exciting development for the company, and I’m excited to share it with the fans in Phoenix and all over the world.”

AEW fans in the UK are also awaiting more information about the previously announced London show that will take place in 2023 while the company has also launched a trademark for a possible third show, but there may have been a major issue with it.
