Tony Khan Big Announcement Teased For AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan

Tony Khan loves to make a big announcement and the AEW boss will be doing exactly that on the 7th of February edition of Dynamite.

A big night of action on Dynamite in New Orleans saw WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam return to the company in the main event as he lost to Swerve Strickland. Van Dam was Adam Page’s pick to face Strickland while the Hangman overcame Strickland’s pick of the Mogul Embassy’s Toa Liona.

The rankings returned to AEW following Dynamite and the men’s standings saw Strickland and Page leading the pack as they jockey for a shot at Samoa Joe’s AEW World Championship. Strickland and Page will clash on the 7th of February edition of Dynamite with the winner getting the title shot at Revolution.

What Does Tony Khan Have In Store On AEW Dynamite?

AEW has also teased that Tony Khan has yet another big announcement to make on that show as well. In the past Khan’s much-memed big announcements have ranged from CM Punk making his return to Collision, tickets going on sale for All In, the purchase of Ring of Honor, to talents joining the company – and it’s that last one that has people talking.

Mercedes Mone is expected to be heading to AEW in the very near future and there have been suggestions that Tony Khan’s company could also become the home for former NJPW star Kazuchika Okada. Whether the signings of either of those huge stars is what Tony Khan has in store remains to be seen.
