Tony Khan Warns Big AEW Return Could Happen Any Time

Tony Khan has dropped an interesting hint.

In recent months, AEW boss Tony Khan has been flying high. Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada have become All Elite, Mercedes Mone is on the brink of her debut, and the company said goodbye to Sting in headline-grabbing fashion.

To add the cherry on top of an already impressive-looking cake, Khan has now teased that a popular star could soon be back in action.

During a SXSW Panel, Khan said long-time absentee Britt Baker could be back in the ring soon.

“She was out injured for a while, and now that she’s out and about, she could be coming back soon, you never know when she could return. It’s one of those things we have up our sleeve and it’s always fun when you can do those,”

Speaking during a different panel, Britt Baker said she can’t wait to resume her wrestling career.

Tony Khan Staying Silent On AEW Departure

On March 8th it was reported that Kevin Kelly had been fired by AEW. The announcer had been with the company since June 2023, but it was reported that AEW grew frustrated with his outbursts on social media.

In a different interview, Tony Khan declined to comment on the firing.
