Tony Khan To Make Another Huge Collision Announcement
Tony Khan might well be trolling wrestling fans at this point as AEW announce yet another big announcement surrounding the impending debut of Collision on June 17th.
Following the revelation by AEW on May 17th that Collision was to be the company’s new Saturday night show on TNT which will begin airing on June 17th, the company has kept fans talking about it through a series of announcements being drip-fed on Dynamite.
Many expected former AEW World Champion CM Punk’s involvement in the new show to be part of the initial announcement but instead that was held back following an apparent last-minute disagreement between Punk and the company.
Following that Tony Khan has appeared on Dynamite in separate weeks to announce the location of some of the first Collision shows, the location of the debut episode of Collision – Chicago, Illinois, and to finally put fans out of their misery and confirm that CM Punk will be returning on June 17th.
Now AEW has revealed on social media that yet another announcement surrounding Collision will be by Tony Khan on Dynamite in Colorado Springs as the AEW boss will announce the main event for the debut episode of the show.
This week on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite, #AEW CEO & GM @TonyKhan will announce the MAIN EVENT for the Saturday, June 17 Premiere of #AEWCollision!

It is not known if CM Punk will be competing on that first show or if he’ll be part of that main event but there have been suggestions that the star is keen on working with Bullet Club Gold’s Jay White.
