Toni Storm’s AEW Worlds End Challenger Revealed
Timeless Toni Storm faces a blockbuster clash for the ages as she puts her AEW Women’s World Title on the line at Worlds End.
The vintage star captured the AEW Women’s World Championship from Hikaru Shida at Full Gear and continues to entice audiences week after week with her movie star qualities.
On Dynamite in Oklahoma City, Toni Storm got a front-row seat for a number one contender’s match between her former Outcasts partner Saraya and Riho, who recently returned to AEW to confront the champion.
Riho To Challenge Toni Storm At AEW Worlds End
In the end, it was Riho who picked up the victory over Saraya to claim the title shot at Worlds End but that was just one of several talking points following the match.
Saraya’s Outcasts partner Ruby Soho was watching the bout in the back and seemed pleased that the English star had fallen to defeat.
In the ring, Toni Storm got a better look at her new challenger with some vintage opera glasses before Mariah May appeared and nailed Riho with the AEW Women’s World Championship. Storm seemed unmoved at first by her understudy’s actions but that turned to a grudging acceptance as the champion showed her range.
Also at Worlds End on December 30th, MJF will defend his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe.
